Oregon, WI (1998)
400 GSF addition to existing residence. Exterior walls allow
display of Client’s stained glass window collection and view of
adjacent woods and prairie. New air conditioning system with
attic distribution is located in penthouse over bridge
connecting addition to house. Addition is elevated 8 feet in the
air at the outside corner.

Shorewood, WI (2003)
1,670 GSF addition and remodel (252 GSF footprint x 3 stories
and 900 GSF remodel over three floors). Added ground floor
family room, laundry and Powder Room, second floor bedroom with
private bath and third floor Master Suite. Addition is in
keeping with Tudor exterior of original home. This project won a
NARI award for Sweeney Construction, the general contractor.

Packwaukee, WI (2006)
New 4,000 GSF single story home with a 2,800 GSF basement. Home
includes a 400 GSF sunroom, 264 GSF three-season porch and a 915
GSF pergola across the front of the house. The south facing
windows and sunroom provide passive solar gain while the massive
interior fireplace provides a radiant mass for two fireplaces
and solar heat gain. The pergola was designed to provide minimum
interference for the south facing windows and their passive
solar funcition.

Madison, WI (2003)
A 1,900 GSF 2-story addition to a 1,940 GSF 1 ½ story home. The
addition included a new Dining/Family room with a view of Lake
Mendota, a Master Bedroom suite, two new bedrooms and a basement
Game room. The Kitchen in the corner of the existing home was
remodeled and opened into the Dining/Family room area.

Madison, WI (2004)
A 1,761 GSF basement and two story addition to a 6,800 GSF Tudor
home plus a full Kitchen remodel. The addition added an exercise
room in the basement, a Living Room on the Ground Floor and
expanded the Master Suite on the Second Floor.

Fitchburg, WI (2000)
430 GSF addition to existing residence. Added second garage to
basement, expanded the Master Bedroom Suite adding a Master Bath
and walk-in closet, expanded Dining area and modified the front
entrance stoop.

Deerfield, IL (1999)
A 1,400 GSF two-story addition (700 GSF footprint) to a 2,400
GSF (1,200 GSF footprint) split-foyer home. The client also
wanted to change the exterior appearance of their home to
Prairie Style to more closely relate to the natural landscaping
of the yard. The addition included a lower level Family Room and
a Master Bedroom Suite on the upper level. In addition there the
addition included 345 GSF of interior screened porch and an
exterior deck.

Cottage Grove, WI (2003)
An 1,170 GSF addition with 800 GSF of basement to a 1,400 GSF
(700 SF footprint) two-story Victorian farmhouse. The addition
added an Dining Room to the rear of the addition and a Solarium
to the front of the addition. The Solarium floor serves as a
thermal mass for the solar gain through the south facing
windows. A two-sided fireplace and wall separate the Dining Room
from the Solarium. The existing Kitchen was remodeled to open
into the new Dining Room.
